London Eye
After a bit of birding and gull photography in Kensington Gardens yesterday, I headed to the Embankment in London to catch a few fireworks from the Lord Mayor's Show. It kicked off at 5.00pm and then I (and hundreds others) realised I was in the wrong spot along the Thames. A mad rush ensued as the unprepared jostled for a decent position.... but they were all over in 10 minutes, spectacular though they were. Anyway, decided to take some more unusual shots of the London Eye on the way back to the tube.

Plumage Patterns
Been sorting through a lot of photos recently and found some close-ups worth cropping for a more abstract feel on this blog. From the top: Mandarin Duck, Grey Heron, Starling, Peacock, Rook & Pheasant.
